On June 23rd, we’ll experience one of the most magical nights of the year, when fire lights up the Pyrenees to welcome the arrival of summer ✨
An ancestral tradition, recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, that connects fire, earth, and community on the night of the summer solstice—the shortest night of the year.
In Laspaúles, Villarrué, and Suils, the fallas descend from the hills (“tozales”) down to the village along a path of light and emotion, culminating in the main square with a great bonfire, dances, wishes, and a communal celebration around the fire 💫
