Romanesque Routes

Aragonese Romanesque art is characterized by the presence of some splendid monumental and exotic architecture, built between the second half of the 11th century and the beginning of the 12th century, overlapping the more modest traditional buildings and the Lombard and Mozarabic styles of the region. Sant Climent de Taüll, the Obarra Monastery and Santa Quiteria are true wonders of the period.
