In the Alta Ribagorza, one of the highest and most isolated areas of the Catalan Pyrenees can be found. It has preserved one of the most beautiful examples of Romanesque architecture, whose artistic value has been acknowledged by UNESCO and declared a world heritage site. It is an inheritance which represents a real treasure for the area.
This cultural heritage blends in with the beauty of the environment and the landscapes of the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park.
